Exactly I can't see the fans caring about this. As a fanbase we have no reference of “cup” games outside of college, and those are cooked in rivalries with teams competing to get into March Madness all year.

It's not like winning a division guarantees a playoff spot.

My gut reaction was the same but we’ll have to see.

If the marketing for it is there and the games are good, then I think it can work.

Vet players are already complaining about how young & inexperienced some locker rooms are, I don’t think they’re motivated to make the league even younger

The coli doesn't seem to understand that its the PLAYERS UNION that doesn't care for kids coming out of high school.

This would have required the coli basketball experts to actually have read the goings on from this negotiation but we know they don’t do tht …they get all of their information from Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless :mjlol:

This isnt true, Woj on his podcast said the league wanted to extend the rookie scale if they would accept one and done. Union wasn't willing to give that up. Teams don't want high school players, you don't have access to medical and all types of shyt. No one wants to go to high-school gyms.
