Do people think that players that are predisposed to bet on games and point shave or whatever nefarious activity people presume this new rule will enable aren’t already doing these things anyways :mjlol:
It's a difference when you're putting a face to it as people are going to pay more attention to those players who publicly have those type of deals.

The season's just getting going. If you're a hoops fan who goes from late June (and if your team is ass, April) to October without basketball and it comes on and you can't get excited for it, that's telling.

The NBA situation regarding the regular season isn't just an NBA problem. Americans for whatever reason just don't like regular seasons anymore. We just want the postseason, even if 2/3rds of the league is in it. Everyone wants shorter games, shorter seasons as if the league is inconveniencing you. Americans have reached a point where it's almost more preferred to cook up hot takes for games instead of letting shyt play out.

They made all of the awards a 65 game minimum, so that’s around the number of games even they think there should be. You can’t expect the fans to care more than the teams and players themselves

That shyt has nothing to do with what I said. We are talking about the players and not the average person :mjlol:

I would imagine that the players would be able to keep all of it since I'm sure at some point the teams or leagues will have their own deals with sports betting companies if they don't already. I guess the one problem I could see arising is if teams starting adding those companies as jersey patches, but individual players have their own deals with competing companies.

Big W for parity. Big L for big market big money teams. :obama:
There won’t be any parity… so you penalize owners who spend money to put a winning product on the floor and reward blatantly cheap owners who don’t give a fukk about winning? Bozo shyt

All these cheap bum ass owners ever cared about was living off the tit of teams deep in the luxury tax with revenue sharing smh

Big money teams should threaten not to revenue share since they are being penalized for drafting and developing their players..

When Bron, KD, Steph and the like hang up their shoes the NBA going to be in big fukkin trouble
