When you play best 4 of 7 the best team always wins (baring injury). One bad day...shiiit one bad play in the NFL and you can be done no matter how good you are. I actually think that top teams getting knocked off is a good thing. Everyone who makes the NFL playoffs has a geniune shot. You know good and well that 75% of the teams in the NBA playoffs have no shot.
I agree on that one shot one kill, is a lot more exciting.
And teams that don't bring their A-game in every minute of the season should get thrown in the bushes.

But NBA's playoffs is a lot more laid-back, just like the sport basketball being a lot more laid back. shyt builds up and you're supposed to deliver over time.

So in the end the NBA system offsets the luck factor, a player playing bad due to his family member dying etc and in the end over time the most accurate winner will be crowned. While in NFL is like the wild west, you never know what will happen. You don't even know which direction the ball will bounce.

Both are dope, NFL is the most exciting and NBA the most fair.

I think the NBA system should be 5-5-7-7 also there should not be a game every 3-4 days. But since it isn't the NFL playoff are the best since the underdog has the best shot at winning with a few good plays. In the NBA system a 6 seed will almost never win a title, in the NFL it's happened a few times recently.

This is probably the only forum in the world that feels this way.

Even last year the NBA playoffs weren't that great. A few good series but a lot of sweeps and 4-1 type ish. Even the finals was only 5 games :beli:

this is complete bullshyt

aint no luck,if you get beat you get beat

its no point of even watching a 7 game series until the conference finals/finals

shyt,i can tell you right now the heat gonna win the title...can you tell me who gonna win the superbowl?
Funny(and sad) how you say my logic is bullshyt and then you go on to illustrate why I was correct in the first place.

In the NBA, if you lose the playoff, you really have no excuse because you would have lost 4 times against your opponent or that week. NFL? All it takes is one bad play or fumble and an inferior team could be winning a title that is supposed to befitting of the very best in the league.
Btw, this fairness of the NBA system doesn't make the games less exciting or make them foregone conclusions and the 2012 playoffs and finals were case in point.

I think NFL playoffs are a lot more suspenseful, exciting and unpredictable. There's never anything lucky about a win. A team prepares all week and goes out onto a 100x50 field for 60 minutes, I won't call it luck if they win against the odds. They just got shyt done and deserve to move on.

NFL playoff game ratings are so absurdly higher than any NBA playoff game it's not even comparable.

It's so sad that these NBA fans are so insecure, they need a hug. They need to feel loved too!
