NBA Playoffs > NFL playoffs

Basketball is my first love, but this is not true. At all

I agree that the first round of the NBA playoffs goes on for to long but I still prefer the NBA playoffs over the NFL. I understand the appeal of a one and done format but I like series. It makes a series feel all that much more classic when you go head to head with the same team multiple times.

I agree.... even the first round was pretty good this year, we had 5 series with a chance to go to game 7, and all 4 of the 2nd round matchups are competitive

I enjoy the NBA playoffs, but in no way, shape, or form are they as good as the NFL's.

The main reason is there is so little suspense. These playoffs are like long, drawn out sagas. The Knicks played last night and won't play again til Saturday??

Also, any league where more than 1/2 of the teams progress to postseason play is just fukkin dumb.

Agreed...rewards the best team, not the hottest team. A good basketball series beats a good football game any day. Gotta cut that first round to best of 5 though. NFL regular season >>> any other sport by a mile though

I'll always prefer NBA to NFL because of the sheer amount of games all throughout the week instead of just on the weekends.

NFL is by far the best sports product in the states, but this years playoff's were with injuries (RGIII), flukey hailmary passes (Flacco), and no real intrigue. No real interesting story lines.

The NBA playoffs will never beat the NFL, at least during the next 20 years.

That being said, the NBA playoffs this year have been . Intrigue, storylines, etc...




and to people saying some bshyt hockey playoffs. The epitome of 'I'd rather be lucky than good'. Its like soccer on ice, where an 'exciting' game can end 1-0 on a fluky goal

Thats what makes a series more intriguing. You anticipate the next game so much especially coming off of a loss.

They are both great to me....

I personally like the NBA playoff more because of having good games to watch pretty much every night until finals is

Also because after the Super Bowl, I still have the the NBA to watch so it it isn't that bad... But after the NBA Finals are over I'm for like 3 months waiting for the NFL to come back...

But both are great to me, although I do agree about the first round going back to 5 games
