NBA has given up on expansion for European league so only way for Sonics/Vegas to get a team would be with relocation. I don't think Memphis is that bad when it comes to ownership, etc. Pelicans on the other hand need to be sold, would be better if someone buys it and keeps it there but Gayle Benson is not it.

No need to relocate the Grizz and the pels to other cities. Memphis especially is a solid market, the people there love their team.

A league that already has questionable respect for fans (not clamping down on load management abuses, inability for local fans to watch their teams on television without jumping through hoops/apps, etc) does NOT need to be in the business of yanking teams from cities.
They did clamp down on load management though
(70 game minimum for awards and bonuses, fines for teams)
MLB & NFL have all moved franchises in the last 15 years
Memphis is a dead city that's only getting worse.
Seattle just needs to get the Supersonics back. Fυck Adam Silver for not doing that already (and it seems like he doesn't want to at all).

Zion failing to become a legit superstar was probably the death blow to the NBA in the NO. I was damn near on the floor for $25 for a Sunday afternoon game last year…they don’t have a fanbase…Memphis on the other hand has one of the best crowds in the league when the team is good, would be a shame if the grizzlies left
