A league that already has questionable respect for fans (not clamping down on load management abuses, inability for local fans to watch their teams on television without jumping through hoops/apps, etc) does NOT need to be in the business of yanking teams from cities.

I highly doubt that, with a lot of these public subsidized arena deals, these teams largely end up being prestige for politicians and net negative on the books for the cities they operate in. They are actually large welfare redistribution programs from regular citizens to the hyper rich.
