You're using his contract to make him look worse than what he is, which is unfair because on his own merit, he's still really good.

To the bolded: Harden sucked in the postseason, which is probably Joe's biggest criticism, yet we shouldn't dismiss what Harden does in the regular season, which isn't better than what Joe does. That is in essence what you said.

A really good player at a really thin position who happens to be a jack of all trades (scoring, rebounding, passing, shooting)

Him disappearing in games is his biggest downfall, but all in all he doesn't have an aspect of his game that is a liability. Amare never being a rebounder or defender is like that is why he gets shytted on.

Under the right circumstances, I could see the Lakers, Spurs, Thunder, or (under PERFECT circumstances for them) the Grizzlies or Clippers coming out of the West.

I can only see the Heat coming out of the East, and the Celtics as a darkhorse if (knock on wood) LeBron were to get injured.

I'm gonna predict a Heat-Lakers Finals but that's all gonna depend on how Steve Nash is going to look in a series against the Spurs/Thunder/Clippers.
