His shot attempts are up by about 2.5 a game, and his free throws are down by over 3 a game
Hawks have also struggled and are a .500 team
Taking away his bait shyt clearly negatively effected him and the Hawks
Trae admitted he was struggling because of the new laws/interpretations. He's needed to adjust. As Dame has.
Shooting better from the field, the 3, and the line. Hawks are on a 6 game win streak. We definitely could be better but the narrative that his game would fall apart with these new rules is looking real funny in the light
I feel like the argument was could he adjust. Which he has. People thought his game would fall apart and he’d be “exposed”
This thread says otherwise.
If you're acknowledging 'could he adjust', that means he was one of the guilty parties that would be affected by the rule changes. Naturally, if you're a high-volume player with skill, you're not going to be held back forever, especially in the regular season. You're going to figure out what works. I guess, the true scale will be what happens in the playoffs.
As I pointed out to you before -
Once players get adjusted to a new season, along with the new Wilson balls, and these rules changes, it'll be business as usual.
All I know is, as of right now, Trae is doing his thang. To the chagrin of many in this thread. A lot of people underestimate how good Trae is. nikkas thought these rules would end him. Shooting better than he ever has
Our record is way more of a product of our defense than these new rules honestly
nikkaz that barely watched Trae thought his whole game was on that insurance fraud harden shyt.
Papa Young letting these nikkas know
Yeah Trae got the real skill to adjust his game to the new rules, and now he's playing better and putting up more efficient numbers than ever. Harden on the other hand... . That nikka been playing over a decade taking advantage of the foul baiting so he doesn't remember how to play basketball the right way. Kinda sad, really.
