Sounds like some FIBA shyt. There’s gonna be less incentive to go for offensive boards and less incentive to even have big men on the floor. Teams would focus more on transition defense which could actually lower scoring.

This is what the Spurs used to do in the 2000s. They would give up offensive boards to set up their D in transition. That’s why they always killed the Suns in the playoffs.

That’s the first thing that popped into my head when a I saw this. If you actually knew the game then you would know what I was talking about but I guess most dudes on here are young nikkas or casuals. :yeshrug:

Doc Rivers actually employs the same strategy/philosophy.
