Manu Dragic and Giannis aren't all star caliber players. We would have players like Russell Westbrook or Blake Griffin told to stay home so we can see Luis Scola. That's a terrible idea.

You are using extreme examples that probably wouldnt even happen scola wouldnt go there are foreign bigs better then him and westbrook would be to good not to make it he almost won mvp.

Batum, Diaw, Manu, none of them are anywhere near all star level to this point. Which nba star gotta sit home and not play in the all star game for those guys to play? With only 12 spots, and a slew of star PGs and PFs, somebody on that superstar level gotta not play.

Those were just off the top of my head, I'm sure they could make a better world team.

Besides Im sure the US players won't mind the snub, all star games outside of rugby are pretty much all I'm sure they'd rather be in Barbados/some strip club anyway.

i'm ASKING you to make this team from players in the NBA or abroad where this game could even make sense. and in an all star game, usa vs. the world, they WILL be taking the second half somewhat serious.
