no

i'm ASKING you to make this team from players in the NBA or abroad where this game could even make sense. and in an all star game, usa vs. the world, they WILL be taking the second half somewhat serious.

:francis: Bruh them games end like 140-135, they don't take that shyt serious anymore

The Olympics already does that and the us slaughters the world.

The talent gap is diminishing though, Greek Freak and Hezonja got next. If Embid stays healthy, then a World vs USA AS game will be a legit competition.

and they would be taking spots earned by actual all stars

Dirk, Pau and Marc Gasol, TP, Noah, Manu, Deng were/are All Stars. That's 7 out of 12. Dragic and Bogut made All-NBA teams. We all know what Diaw can do (shouts to :troll:). Batum and Greek Freak may or not make it one day, but they got game.

shyt we had years were guys like Brad Miller and Tyrone Hill were All-Stars :dead:

Why the name-calling breh? You mad already? :dwillhuh:

Put up your roster of 12 players and calm down:yeshrug:
I didn't fool in bad way, it's a term we use down here :yeshrug:

but the point is the all star game should consist of the BEST players in the game, not just some good ones to fill out a sqaud

Lebron
Steph
Durant
WestBrook
AD
CP3
Blake
Lamarcus
Harden
Cousins
Bosh
Wade
Carmelo
Klay Thompson
Kyrie
Kevin Love

thats 16 guys off the top of my head before I can think of an international guy who deserves ALL Star over them, maybe Marc Gasol

All right, we can discuss this in a civil manner :yeshrug:

Well just last year, both Gasol brothers and Dirk (as a replacement granted) were All-Stars. Love wasn't. We all know hat the actual ASG is not about the best players OVERALL, but the best 2-3 by position and by conference, plus the feel-good stories (Korver for example). It's never really the best 24 players in the league. Ever year you have players who are selected that make you go :beli:

What I'm saying is that it's not so crazy to think that the game would be interesting when you actually take the time to look at WHO would be playing in the game and how they would actually match. US would prob win still but let's not act like it would be 165-78 lol

I agree we desperately need a shakeup in things like this in the nba still think we need to kill the conference system too.

didnt you hear that stat from the draft, 16 straight foreign players selected in the lottery and none of them have made a allstar game

it doesn't count cats like Andrew Wiggins (Canada) and Karl Anthony Towns (DR) cause they went to US colleges. NBA could do a us vs. world challenge like they do in the nike hoops summit. the world has been winning those the last couple of years. they also did it for the rising stars game and the world dominated. wiggins, giannis, gobert, etc.

don't forget wiggins, karl anthony towns, and mudiay. lotta the young talent drafted the last couple of years are international guys who played in the states.
