Houston is rumored to pursue a trade for Dragic regardless of whether he wants to stay there or not.It would be incredibly dumb of Morey to do and I hope it really does happen

I think the dumb thing Morey is doing is upsetting Patrick Beverly. When Morey strikes out on all the other PGs this summer, Beverly will be upset and ready to move on.

Btw, Dragic & Beverly are repped by the same agency. Not exactly sure they'd want Dragic to go to/stay with a team Dragic doesn't trust and Beverly is already on. It would hurt their value.

But getting Dragic wouldn't be dumb if they intended on offering a full max deal. That 5th year will be very important to Dragic. That's why the Kings and Celtics are ignoring the tough talk from Dragic and his agent, at least for the moment.

If this is true the Thunder were fools to offer Reggie this contract and he was even dumber not to accept it immediately. He's an ok player and he may even be a starter for someone eventually but he's not a 12 million a year type player. But with the way the market is set I am not surprised that he got an offer like this. Just shocked that he didn't take it.

That's bout what is about right for Dragic. He is not a 20 million a year player and even though he had the great season last year and a good one this year he is not a franchise player who will make a team a contender all of a sudden. I like him and his game but people are getting overboard with the hype for him.

Whats the point in the Celtics getting him though? He's going to be a free agent, and the Celtics aren't competing for a ship this year..

I don't understand why we are going after point guards either

Isiah makes sense cause he's ideally a sixth man and a good fit, plus his contract is an absolute bargain

But why give assets up for somebody if we can't guarantee he'd be here next year? And even if we could guarantee that, does it make sense to lock up 4/60million (or maybe even more) in a position where we have capable players like smart, turner, pressey on great contracts?

Just feel like danny isn't trading his assets for a piece that doesn't help us in the long term, ultimately that's what this is all about... The long term unless we can get Dragic for thornton and two of our crappier first round picks,but even then it doesn't make a ton of sense to me
