Idc.

Reggie might be gone at the end of the season anyway, might as well take a gamble on Dragic.
Since we don't have a structured offense or a 2 he would work perfectly if Dragic and Westbrook work together.

They could take turns doing whatever they want, while KD is playing off both of them.

The suns could take PJ3 and Lamb along with reggie too.

Don't think it would work out though. Dragic wants out now because they have Bledsoe & Thomas which takes the ball out of his hands & that is his biggest complaint. He would end up like Reggie is now just half assing his way through the rest of the year, because at the end of the day Russy & KD are going to be the ones making plays for us.

I'd much rather get Bropez than anything else.

I also havent read anything about Miami being one of those teams and Boston has many more assets than Miami. PHX would be insane to take Deng. Deng has a player option for next year at 10+ AND a trade kicker in his contract. Theyd be better off just keeping Dragic and hoping for the playoffs while getting Tucker run and trading Thomas or hoping for a Dragic change of heart

Woj reported it. No mention of the Celtics, aside from that dumbass Bill Simmons.

And like I said, the Suns wanted Deng in the offseason and they don't have much leverage if Dragic will only re-sign with a few teams. They either have to roll the dice and keep him or play by his rules.

I'm just reacting to what Alex Kennedy is tweeting. He mentioned Deng and that's the first time I considered it.

And it would help if we knew the other teams on the short list. I read Dragic would consider Indy too. So that leaves 3 more.

He seems to be aware enough to want to go to teams where he will get the ball and won't get in another messy situation like in Phoenix.

Miami, NY, Lakers make sense...

Boston kind of does too (I'm not interested, but some of the fanbase is)

Detroit might make sense, along with Sacramento

Philly?

:yeshrug:

He wants a big market and/or a team with shytty point guards so he wont be thrown around anymore. I guess Miami fits that. Deng's salary would be 12 mil on the books for PHX next year so unless they can find other teams to facilitate that isnt going to happen.

Dragic isn't a lock to sign long term with the Rockets and even they would still top that offer tho

Ultimately Phoenix is gonna do what's best for them

They'll offer one of Beverly, donatas, or terrence jones along with that 1st

After Bledsoe got paid, I knew Dragic wasn't going to have a future with that team.

Yea..at the time the rumors were PHX deciding between the two. PHX had tons of cap space and couldnt land anyone nor find a sign and trade with Bledsoe at the money he was asking for...so they basically said fukk it lets just sign Bledsoe. I thought they'd still have a chance of keeping them both for a while but the IT signing really clinched it for me.

I agree that if the Rockets are willing to take that risk then they'll win out. And ultimately, their max offer to him would trump anyone else's, and who says the Lakers or Knicks would offer him one anyway. If Dragic's agent could guarantee him a max contract right now with a real contender, even with the untrustworthy Rockets, then why wouldn't he take it? And Morey has been known to do crazy shyt...

Problem is that playing next to Harden, he might get the ball even less than he did in Phoenix

But if Phoenix is gonna do what's best for them, they probably make the best offer unless danny Ainge decides he really wants him (and I personally hope not)

I want lopez too, but that contract+past injuries makes him a gamble as well.

Dragic was fine with Bledsoe last season. Durant wouldn't have a problem with Dragic playmaking because he isn't as dumb as Waiters or Jackson. Dragic is great in the PnR/PnP too so he would make serge relevant offensively again.

It would be Westbrook and Dragic dominating the ball, with a little bit of KD.

I just want some changes:manny:

Dragic will get $60 million over 4 years

$80 million talk is ludicrous.... I could see it get pushed near $65 milly but that's it
