Its just for match ups. They arent going to go to that all the time. They need that flexibility.

Afflalo will get pounded playing the 3 out west and Batum would get pounded as a result at the 4. That is not gonna work.

It's moreso for when Batum isn't playing well which has been happening a lot this season in particular, Batum wouldn't just get pushed to the 4.
