Nah, the weight stuff was way overblown, he apparently got up to 275lbs (was 265lbs at the workouts)




He's getting close, I think he wants to play but who knows if they will let him.







They do have more talent in my eyes, because they have 2 positions locked up and Embiid being a post/skilled 7 footer is just a massive gap between what you have and him. And even if you feel they're going to trade Noel they still have Saric to play the 4 who is the unquestioned best young player in Europe right now.

Is there anyone on your team you feel is better than Noel? He's the main reason the Sixers defense is even respectable.

You cant get to high on those euro's. They're wildcards until we seen them in person. I remember reading about a spurs exec having so much guilt for trading the rights of scola away once he seem him playing in his rookie season with houston. Imagine if spurs wiuldve brought scola over a lil younger playing with duncan and the big three. We probably wouldn't just be talkin about number 5 for duncan

I'd take Noel over anyone on the Celtics, sure. But I'd also take Anthony Davis over anyone on the Spurs but that doesn't mean their team has more talent.

Whether or not Embiid & Noel can play together is a moot point really, cause more than likely they will not move Embiid, if anyone is untouchable it's him. He's a better talent than anyone on the Celtics, you can build around him which seems to be their goal now. The Celtics are set up well for the future because of the Nets picks, but the Sixers might have the franchise cornerstone that the Celtics are hoping to get.

I'd take Noel over any of your young players right now, and god forbid they actually do get Russell You may like what they're doing, but from a pure talent standpoint the Sixers have more than you, Saric is the best young player in Europe right now

If I was a philly game I wouldn't be watching or especially paying to go the games

Saric is highly touted, basically he's viewed on the same tier as Mirotic.
