Not just you, but why are you making the assumption that Denver will be peaking as a team doing that? Most teams simply can't bypass missing the playoffs to being a juggernaut team. Even the Dubs were a low seed the first two times they made it back (and won their first series). They can make the playoffs and build upon that and gain that experience for a young team moving forward.

Making the playoffs in any way as a young team can only be good.

I just looked it up but wouldn't Brooklyn still get a pick in this draft due to the stepien rule? It probably won't be anything crazy but essentially the Celtics only have swap rights to Brooklyn's picks this year and next.

the Celtics will get the Nets best pick as they swap. Celtics will probably be late in the first, while the Nets will definitely be a top 5 pick.

Yea, I'm all for trading Bojan for a 1st. He's a rfa in the off-season too. He might ask for too much.

If the right offer comes along for Brook, I'd pull the trigger. I just don't want us to trade him just to trade him ya know If we're with him, we'd be even worse without him. Plus we need some type of reliable veteran on the squad, with all these young players we have.

I been looking around the league but i dont know where he can go that it would make sense for what marks want back ..think hes with us past the deadline.

The reason you don't get Cousins or likely a Jimmy Butler type is cause dude doesn't want to come off players like Marcus Smart and Rozier
