I don't understand the hate Danny Ainge gets.

You look at his track record over the past 10 years it's been nothing short of spectacular.

Dude raked in all them draft picks, brought us a great player in Isaiah Thomas, one of the most rising star coaches in the league in Brad Stevens.

So we missed out on Demarcus Cousins. So what.

Opportunities been coming our way for the longest.

Because he pretty much has a free star player card with that nets pick and won't play it...

And you can make the case that pick as boston is currently constructed is not even all that useful...

They already got smart, rozier, brown...adding a 4th guy to develop to that mix is just overkill...

You got a star player in IT...you got a great number 2 in Hortford...you got a great coach in Stevens...it's pretty obvious what you need now...

It's not really about Demarcus Cousins...it's about Danny having the ability to make the team much better while giving up a pick that is not going to do much for them right now...

Like...who are the Celtics even taking with that pick that is going to make a difference for them immediately...?
