NBA TV's Sekou Smith Passed Away From Covid-19

As common as it has become for people to get it, this thing is still out here and still a killer.
I was lucky, I had a asymptomatic positive test 2 weeks, but I know others around me that have had to fight it hard include an older family friend having to be put on steroids to fight. Stuff like that is gonna still have affects

Rip to him i just wish people would stop underestimating covid. My dad a healthy 53 year old got covid on January 2 and by January 7 he couldn't get up and I took him to the hospital he spent 7 days there. 2 days later his condition was getting worse again so I drove him 2 hours to the Mayo Clinic and he spent 5 days there. They were able to treat him there and he's been at home now recovering with an oxygen tank which he will need for another 2 weeks. Blood thinners that could take up to 6 months to clear the clot in his lung.

Covid is not the flu it causes blood clots and Pneumonia which suffocate you that's what's killing people. If your body has a bad reaction to Covid which hospital you go to and which treatment you receive will determine if you live or die.
