Damn. I remembered Stephen A mentioning him fighting Covid on First Take a couple weeks ago and just happened to check his social media today to see if he had posted and/or hopefully recovered and there were no posts but I just looked at it as "no news is good news".

Really sad to find out this news a couple hours later. He seemed like a good dude.

Rip to him i just wish people would stop underestimating covid. My dad a healthy 53 year old got covid on January 2 and by January 7 he couldn't get up and I took him to the hospital he spent 7 days there. 2 days later his condition was getting worse again so I drove him 2 hours to the Mayo Clinic and he spent 5 days there. They were able to treat him there and he's been at home now recovering with an oxygen tank which he will need for another 2 weeks. Blood thinners that could take up to 6 months to clear the clot in his lung.

Covid is not the flu it causes blood clots and Pneumonia which suffocate you that's what's killing people. If your body has a bad reaction to Covid which hospital you go to and which treatment you receive will determine if you live or die.

shyt will literally break down someone who was 1 week prior healthy as could be. shyt literally destroys some people bodies and others they just lose smell and taste. hopefully pops health getting better bruh

I grew up reading his articles on the Hawks in the Ajc. This shyt hurts, he was such a kind man, we used to talk on Twitter all the time back in the day. Rip to the good brother.
