Tested positive for covid yesterday... Been sick for 2 weeks so decided to take a day off and hit the doctor yesterday... Besides fatigue and some headaches, most of the major symptoms have gone.. Doc said chill out another 4 days before going outside... Besides that ain't shyt they really do or give you.. It's crazy, they just kinda say let people you been around know... And lay low...

I know people don't want to question or critique the front line medical establishment but the fact of the matter is that the treatment and quality of care COVID patients receive is not scrutinized as intensely as it should be. From the onset we were conditioned to accept that once hospitals became "overwhelmed" that many people will die. So of course when there are a massive number of COVID deaths in these hospitals we only see that as a grim foregone conclusion. Academic and nothing that warrants serious investigation. The onus has been put on us to not contract this virus. There's really no pressure on healthcare professionals to combat the virus, just tally the cases and deaths and make the infected comfortable, and the latter is optional.

Nah, I don't agree and there are healthcare professionals on this forum that would say much differently.

COVID is no joke.

Bad thing about many black people being so skeptical of the vaccine is that people think they can just wait it out until it goes away. But, it'll most likely be with us for the foreseeable future and we know reinfection is perfectly possible. You can't live like that long-term because sooner or later you're going to get fukked.
