I hope those defending this ignorance are just knee deep in the "aargghhh KILL NERD CACALYTICS :pacspit:" schtick

Its shameful that the InsNBA crew are so apathetic to the Association.

Theres no excuse to not know basic facts. They are prominent, very well paid ambassadors of the game. Plus, there has to be an assumption that every episode is somebody's first episode, so knowing basic info about the players would help further inform the viewer and grow the league.

Chuck and Shaq can still have their petty jabs and criticisms and be more informed.

Sound like they know what they’re talking about to me :yeshrug:

These guys aren’t mad that they don’t know guys names...they’re mad that they are still The King Of The Hill and whatever it is they want to champion is in the wind :mjlol:

I used to break my back to watch these guys (pre Shaq days) but I’m not pressed like that anymore. Either I catch it or I don’t. Why would they have to switch up their recipe for me when they have so many alternatives?

I’m confused as to what it does for the NBA where young players can have great games and get shyt on in the postgame show. People had words for Shaq in the 90s about his FT shooting and all around game, but you NEVER saw it on NBC or TNT , especially after a big game. Adam Silver really needs to make a call

They can be entertaining but remember they are marketing the NBA. And consistently shytting on the current product and players like they are no good will lead some fans away.

They taken the stephen A angle of shytting on players to sell. But somebody somewhere gotta be in love with the game and talk about the positives. I actually like Gilbert in this scenario. He's one of the few players looking to the next generation and having convos with them. He had criticism of D Mitch too that he's strong going to a certain hand. But never does anything the other way. But D Mitch took it well cause Gil made it clear he was telling him so he can improve.

Shaq today was framing his statement as if his criticism was being said to push d Mitch to be better that's why he wanted him to hear it. But D Mitch didn't care. These players have heard shaq and them shyt on other players and they don't appreciate it so won't take it positively.

Shaq didn't even know that Kryie was back, the Nets lost last night, and that Sexton lit them up in the process:francis:

Okoro was guarding Harden that's why Harden took less shots. That whole harden should take more shots thing Is dumb. You cant force it.

All these NBA big names on TV are lazy as fukk.

Worst coverage out of the major sports.

you’re always trying to champion the NFL & put down the NBA.

at least the NBA doesn’t have an issue with hiring black coaches.

Tell us why white guys can be position coaches for 2 years and get a head coaching job while a guy who has helped create the top offense in the league for the past 3 years constantly gets passed over
