Damn that sucks for Cade. I figured he was playing too good to survive. Damn I was reading that Jalen Green will be better than Cade thread like a week or two ago. Damn

5yr 269 mill deal with $50 million and increasing increments per season starting next season. Corporate agent babble so his client doesn't fire him for the extension in year 3. He also represents Jokic and Murray and several others.

I'm sorry but if you can't make the bare minimum requirement of showing up to work 79% of the time, then yeah you should not get employee of the year over the employee who is also performing stellar while meeting your bare minimum availability requirement.

Foh with this cry baby ass bullshyt from dudes making 8 figures a year to play basketball.

Getoffmydikkerson and Kawhi Leonard about to be ALL NBA first team this year and that's why y'all really mad :umad:

Nope when the 65 games was agreed upon you knew there was going to be cases where guys have legit injuries and miss out on the awards, so after one year you want to make a change?

There should be a minimum of games played for awards, you can’t reward players who always sit out
These guys have proven over and over again that they can't be trusted to hoop on their own. It's actually embarrassing how many restrictions and rules Adam Silver has attempted to put in place just to get these guys to play, and play hard lol

No way players like Kawhi and Wemby are hooping this frequently without the minimum put in place. Some people actually feel sorry for jokic that he used up all his sick days early in the season and now he can't take any time off :mjlol:

In every other sport, the players WANT to play. Thats one of the reasons why the older players shyt on this generation and it doesnt happen as much in other sports. The lack of competitiveness and the crying disgusts them.

You dont see that in the nfl, nhl, MLB, soccer, etc

The rule was made to get nikkas to stop sitting out games, Cade has not been doing that and shouldn’t be punished
Exactly. A late-season freak accident shouldn't take you out the running

Also, it forces players with a nagging injury to keep playing, making the issue worse

Also, the game is just played differently than in the past, so players are going to sustain more injuries. This rule does nothing to address load management. In addition, I never thought load management was that big of an issue

The voters always put games played into consideration without the arbitrary "65 games played" rule before

there are seasons where Kobe and Bron played 64 games and still made All-NBA. Hell 55 games of Kobe or Bron is far more impactful than 70 games of some other player, chances are

This rule forces guys to play while injured.
