Its crazy players like joker and wemby were on the verge of missing honors 2 months ago, and by the grace of GAWD have been able to play in 95% of their games since. What a coincedence

Damn I just realized they both timed it perfectly…if they play in the last game tomorrow they hit the 65…and the game is kind of meaningless…that’s kinda wildIts crazy players like joker and wemby were on the verge of missing honors 2 months ago, and by the grace of GAWD have been able to play in 95% of their games since. Just like a nikka who box score watches games to say this rule is stupid.86 this stupid ass rule.
over 100 nba players played over 70 games
even soft injury prone players like brandon ingram played 76 games, jamal murray 75, clint capela 74, lamelo ball 71 games
the rule is fine

I know you ain't trying to accuse other folks of this behavior, when you're the biggest box score watcher on this board (you even admitted you don't watch games).Just like a nikka who box score watches games to say this rule is stupid.
and i'm sure there are others who i've named that would play the extra games
but that's my point. The voters knew Kobe was all-NBA material, and he didnt play 65 games at 20 mins every game. He was still worthy of being All-NBA
Same logic here. No one is voting for guys hat played 35 games. Players that managed to play a good majority of the games should get all-NBA, MVP, DPOY, all-defense, etc.
Shaq would lose 4 All-NBA selections (2 first teams) if this rule was in effect. It doesn't make sense, and there isn't a need for it since the voters already took into account games played when they made their selections. Kawhi played 56 games this season and has been phenomenal. He should be all-NBA even though he didn't play a random asspulled number of 65 games
EDIT: The only time a voter tried to make a player All-NBA when they didnt really deserve it was in 2021, when Jalen Rose said he voted for Kyrie. Kyrie only played like 30 games. This is just an example of Jalen being a dunce
Yeah I can see it going to like 2000+ minutes played rather than gamesWemby mentioned minutes played... that could be where this goes

It sounds like Luka might win his appeal and be eligiblecade is in the EXACT same boat as luka, who also played 64 games this year
I haven't seen anyone trippin about luka's ineligibility for post season awards
