Because it frees people from that exact bullshyt racket..... your path forks in many more directions when you have the monetary freedom to do so
Freedom for a few in the beginning and then it goes away after it effects the pipeline. Why would you work at your job if they made you rich. Why even finish college. It's not sustainable

How is this analogous to being paid period?

Would you work for free the next 4 years if your work paid for night school?
I wouldn't. My expenses are to high. If I was a college kid with free dorm housing with access to thousands of hoes every year and free food i might. A college atheletes expenses and a grown man with 2 kids are different. They get enough to survive and go to school..

Maybe the school should just pay the students who pay to attend because they help the school attract more intelligent talent. Where does it end. fukk them jocks. The pro league will feed them or their brain after they get a degree

Those kids aren't kids though they are legal adults. Why should an 18yr old in the NBA have a salary but an 18yr old in the NCAA shouldn't? Cause they cover a yearly amount that equals out to below the poverty line?(like 20k)

Resistance to change keeps the pipeline intact. Every objection raised is to keep your options limited and succeed stories outside of what they show to s minimum. Everybody didn't finish college anyway bruh so why are you holding a different standard from what is normal? I assume you trolling, because this stuff is obvious. Mufukkas play football because they live football.......I lived it breathed it......... the same people you saying wouldn't work I'm sure you watch them working every week......rich as fukk......out there creating human car wrecks

Well I guess we have a difference in opinion on this one.

If I own a business. That makes 10 million a year I'm not paying the janitor 500k a year to clean toilets because without him, my business would be messy and I know you wouldn't either.
just some random made numbers to bolster a flawed argument, you might pay the janitor 500K but you will pay him

It's not about should. It's about what you want to fight for. If believe if it's going to be done it should come out of the schools budget and not from an external corporation. It will destroy the ncaa ultimately for short term profit for a small group of players.

Hurts the integrity of the game. These are supposed to be amateurs. Corporate brings in to many rules, more control over the lives of prospects, added stress to the players and hurt the cohesive effect of the team. This can potentially distract them from their education, hurt relationships with friends/teammates, and hurt their basketball career if they make poor long term decisions for quick financial gain.

Not to mention over inflate abilities and allocate resources to players who may have more personality then skill.
This is Cacish as hell :mjlol: :russ:

However much i earned over the amount of money that went into the scholarship.

For me, it'll be more like the NFL which is so corporate now.

To me, I find the NFL boring because it is overly corporate (look at all the lame Taylor Swift shyt while the quality of the early regular season games are mid af). Honestly the NFL isn't even a football league to me anymore. It's sports entertainment like the WWE, except it features football instead of wrestling. Should call it the World Football Federation since they want to build a franchise in London anyway.

The last thing college football fans want is for it to become more like the NFL in all the wrong ways.
