Yea I feel u. But it seems like Yall was saying that the Aaliyah records gave him an unfair advantage. Which isn’t true. Dude has a better and more versatile writing catalog. And Ne-Yo is the man. But it is what it is. Lol. Johnta held back. He could’ve REALLY went in. And Ne-Yo gimped himself with all them Ne-Yo records.

I don't really like Ne-Yo all that much, but he is a great writer. What hurts his catalog is that his writing was paired with StarGate production, which sounded cheap. "Irreplaceable" was the best song out of their union IMO.
