Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
no one said i wasn't making the money to afford it but that doesn't change how frustrating it is to see pricing jump 36% over the past year, especially when rents have been relatively stable for years.

plus, most jobs in florida are low paying, most long-term residents don't have the luxury of just finding better jobs and getting raises.

we can chalk it up to "that's life" but don't be surprised when people say something about it

That’s life breh. When a place grows cost of living goes up. I wish I could help you but I can’t.

That's very false. 90s Atlanta is a good example

Real estate people really lost their minds with gentrification these last 15 year's. Back in the 90s and early 00s, there were PLENTY of olaces that were jumping, with low COL and had entertainment galore.

We need another bill putting price caps on essential needs.

But thats an excuse. Other places in the world has growing new areas, and the COL is cheap. Its an American thing for landslords to be greedy.

Where are these places? People in England have the same exact issue and many Nordic states have a good quality of living with high taxes that Americans would kill the government over.

I’ve heard Japan has good cost of living but Japan is like NYC in steroids and most of Americans do not want to live like that.

Americans want to live on 300 acres, only want highway construction to drive there cars and somehow have all that for cheap.

Americans aren’t willing to lose stuff to acquire a cheaper cost of living

High
Cost of living is artificial demand and speculation to ruin any non wealthy person's chances of social mobility. These landlords can decrease their rent prices 30% and still make a profit. But GREED has been normalized and conditioned by the public.

Imagine you as a landlord allowed rent to be cheap in San Francisco? That city would gain 1 million people in a day. You can’t sustain that growth

You asked if the census does year by year?

I answered and told you both. If you wanted the answer you could simply go on the census website and see for yourself

Never mind… you still didn’t answer my question and I don’t care enough to go do any research on this topic, lol.
