look breh im only in favor of it in specific cases with hard evidence, but that man deserves to die, and die painfully. i agree with you ALL DAY that there are problems with the system, but i dont think we're "above" killing that dude and others like him

Just throw his ass in jail for life with no chance of parole. There's an argument to be made that it's worse than being killed anyway.

Too much potential for abuse with the death penalty, it's way too biased in terms of who gets it, and it's more expensive for taxpayers than life in prison.

Good.

No good reason to have capital punishment, and to be honest it's been almost 20 years since they executed anyone anyway, so it's not like it has much of an impact on anything. In fact, according to Wikipedia only 3 people have been executed since the 1970s.

For the most despicable and heinous crimes (rape, murder, huge scale fraud), and if they were 100% sure of guilt, which is a big if, then I'd absolutely be for it. I'd also give dikk Cheney the death penalty.
