Wins and losses are less important than how a character is booked. Cena and Triple H have a history of laying on their back, but that doesn't offset how much they have damaged their opponents' careers.

Win or lose, Owens should come out of this so strong that it makes guys at the bottom of the roster nervous. They might get their spot took by another NXT guy.

They threw the Indie guy a bone to give him a little jump start that's why the match wasn't for the U.S. Title. Cena will win the rematch at MITB and will win the rubber match at the following PPV..GUARANTEED

That's his pattern. It will be a magnificent display of politico-booking if this is not the outcome. Ironically, it would be the one time that Cena & Triple H have booked the promo and storyline for the sole purpose of pushing new talent.

We'll see, R=G. I won't be watching RAW, but I'm tempted for the first time since before Wrestlemania.

Cena will have an excuse ready..and he'll calm down on the big talk until he gets the win back in two weeks.

What it is for me, is that he's put in a position where he has to get the win back, and then even go on and win the third match, which seems to happen quite often. they just can't have him lose and that be it.

It's not his fault, that's just the booking.

:sabocena: Lost to CM Punk, put D Bry over at SummerSlam, made both Neville and Zayn look huge in their debuts, and just took the L to Owens last night and smarks still complain.

Let's not even mention him sacrificing himself in a glorious fashion to Brock last year.

Owens gonna lay down to that 3 second tan in the rematch though, even steven

They just fukk things up rushing rematches like that. Its like they have no faith in John to recover. They rushed a big money rematch with him and Brock after Brock destroyed him at Summerslam and now they trying to do it again.

I don't think Owen's is gonna eat the pin. I'm expecting a possible interference from either Joe or Zayn

I think he eats the pin via interference. My money would be on Zayn because of how much he's been referenced on TV.

Watching
pretty much, Cena will need a Droz type injury for people to say he put someone over, and even then thats when it'll be a work.

Man Cena is really selling this broken neck, he hasn't moved an inch. He's NEVER sold like this, he must be retiring

Cena will kick out of paralysis. :dead:

:mindblown: the kickout argument, when's the last time someone at his level of higher ate one finisher and was done?

I was NOT expecting that. Triple H. must've threatened Cena or something. I'm in disbelief.

He let Owens used his finisher and pin him. :mindblown:

I much rather be a Triple H. made man than a Vince made man nowadays.:banderas:

Other than Wyatt and Rusev, he has put over guys that at the time had legit chances of one day being in the main event scene: Punk, Bryan, Shield, Owens.

And I don't care for Nexus. Except Ryback, that was the peak for all of the members.

Regardless of the rushed rematch that's about to happen, what Cena has done for Owens and the other guys for NXT (Zayn and Neville) is great.

Owens having his comeuppance in his first promo against Cena and defeating Cena in his first match in the WWE is historical. You can't take that from him!!

He is a made man period!! Cena can win the next two matches (the feud overall) and I guarantee you that it won't hurt Owens.

So imo...all the complaining for the inevitable is pointless.

Only person Cena has put over when it came to a big build and situation is Daniel Bryan in 2013 which was obvious considering he was SO fukkING HOT that it had to be done and there was no way out of it. Of course he was gonna lose to Lesnar after Lesnar went over Taker..that was obvious to anyone with sense. And I thought they might have no contest or something last night because there is one thing that is obvious...Cripple H likes the praise for NXT and what it does for his tainted perception to fans who will always see him as a guy who married into having this much of a career past his prime. So he wasn't gonna let Owens get STF'd in the middle of the ring and tap out like an idiot and have Cena step his foot over the entire NXT promotion and hype that is going on right now. That would undermine Cripple H and make him look like a complete idiot who is wasting everyone's time by claiming they're the future yet the champion is just another jobber for John Cena to crush and look golden against. They did a lot though..they had Cena kick out of damn near everything before he finally stayed down. Austin will put the match over big time and he's kind of blind to the Cena politics because no one really grinds it against him on the phone or in a email but he'll give him props for this.

But it goes like this...Rusev looked dominant against Cena in Feb and now look at him. We'll see how they have Owens lose in two weeks to make it up for Cena....I would expect the worst because when it comes to John Cena? That's all you're gonna get.

Man y'all really need to stop. No one was complaining last night to my knowledge. As much as y'all wanna throw around the term " neckbeards" some of y'all have neckbeard tendencies your damn selves.
They talk more about Shawn Michaels, Punk, and AJ Lee than anything going today. Like true geeks...shyt is hilarious. Double talkers one and all.

He didn't make Zayn look huge..he looked like a loser who got dominated and hit a few spots. The Montreal reaction was big for the kid but that was it. Cena no sold all of his big moves and put his ass away like a common jabroni. Neville was different...they actually had him looking like he would win.
