Yall are a mess... I'd blow it up and go for the draft. Do whatever you can to nab the Nets pick swap this year and their first next year from Boston.
Jimmy Butler + Bulls 2017 first + anything else really(Valetine, McDermott, Grant, Mirotic, Lopez, Gibson, etc.) for the two Nets picks
Have a top 3 pick in 2017
Tank 2018, have 2 top 5 picks in that draft
Walk out with something like Lonzo Ball, Michael Porter Jr., DeAndre Ayton as your building blocks for the future. Since they're all so young, you'll get another top 10 pick in 2019 most likely.
Can you actually get that out of the Celtics? I don't know, probably not. I'd do everything I can to pull it off though. Just getting one pick would be good, you could have 2/3 guys I listed above for example and still be in a great position moving forward.

Y'all didn't entertain the hypothetical Timberwolves proposal, but i think the shakeup would be exciting at the very least. I would respect GarPax if they tried some shyt to actually get better (even if they fail) than to do the bare minimum year in and year out to garner playoff revenue.
If they do some spicy shyt this summer I wouldn't even be mad (not mitch trubisky spicy though
). Problem is we getting beat in all the recent trades we've made. We gotta make some moves with winning in mind, not so much the damn fiscal dollar. I'm not necessarily against blow it up gang and I'm definitely not against keeping Butler, I'm just saying moves must be made, and we definitely have assets to splash this summer
