We are gonna go in circles. if you don't believe in the F.O. making good decision, then making a trade that will ship the only respectable piece out doesn't make too much sense. You're playing the "cross our fingers and hope" strategy that is the NBA draft .

meanwhile, some really good picks ahve come in the 12-36 range. This is the deepest draft in years. Happy with our position, wouldn't mind trading for another pick but evidently there's gonna be some solid UDFA that I think may be roster worthy.

let's be honest we were one bad draft away from having a really good team, that draft being the Doug McDermott draft, which I wanted Lavine, Hood, and/or Anderson out of that draft both of them were available and we traded up to get McDermott. Those picked turned into Gary Harris and Nurkic. And not gonna say mcDermott sucked but we gave up really versatile players

and going back even further, this board was too much about sniff Rose's ass instead of getting rid of him as soon as he was healthy. Keeping Rose as long as we did is that what killed us, always hoping he'd lead us through the playoffs.

This isn't moving no needles bruh :francis: jimmy will be 28 in september. The bulls as usual will probably hold on to a valuable asset too long and get nothing that's my biggest fear or put trash rosters around him until he's eligible to opt out when he's pushing 30.16th pick,re-signing niko, bringing back rondo and gassing the rest of those marginal young players is playing the fans.If they really wanted to add talent around jimmy they could they seem incapable of doing it.We'll just agree to disagree

I agree with the part about rose even tho it woulda been hard to trade him cuz he's washed and had multiple years left on his contract.Instead of cutting ties his role should of been significantly reduced.

I just can't see a scenario where boston or lakers or philly trades that pick for jimmy.

What yall think about trading our 16th for deangelo Russell? Is he a down hill pg?

Bulls need to make Butler available for the number 1, ASAP.

I doubt boston gives up the #1 for jimmy. They can just play fultz at the 2 and try to sign hayward. If hayward stays in utah then boston can address their rebounding and other needs.

If the bulls trade jimmy(which they probably won't cuz they're too scared) philly,t wolves or maybe the suns are their best bet.

Thibs not rocking with a youth movement lavine is too good to come off the bench.Philly could use some vets to accelerate the rebuild they still will get lottery picks from the lakers and/or kings they can acquire jimmy and sign lowry to play with simmons, embiid and saric.

T wolves dunn, lavine #7 pick.Sixers #3(fox),okafor and the '19 kings pick.Bulls will most likely stand pat and draft frank jackson or justin jackson.

u think the lakers are already ready to quit on d'angelo?
He played better at the 2, but it's a chance they won't see ball and russel as a ideal fit for a back court. And a lot of teams don't need pgs. So a 16th pick might be a good return.

Just something to keep an eye on. Much rather trade our pick to see if we can land a russel or Eric bledsoe than draft another guy who needs 3 years to develop in a plan that is build around jimmy butler.

The bolded I doubt jeanne will be on the board by then that's the next rudy gobert.Diallo and jeane are the type of picks the bulls need to make instead of this safe valentine, justin jackson and mcdermott low upside types.

zach collins from gonzaga or frank jackson from duke.I'd be cool if the bulls could get 2 of those 4

If jimmy makes any of the 3 all nba teams next season. This is the extension he'll be eligible for :francis:

I love what jimmy has turned into but he aint worth this. The fo is dumb as fukk and have wasted 2 years of jimmys 5 year contract and now they have 2 years left to "build around jimmy" this is why it would be smart to trade him while his value is at it's peak.

Bulls arent trading Jimmy

Their only hope is to sign 2 max players in summer 2018 when we can clear books and still have Jimmys discount salary to build around

Here is what the FA class will look like:

Westbrook, PG13, Cousins, Deandre, Avery Bradley, IT, LMA (:whoa:)

Hopefully Jimmy is recruiting, hes friends with PG, Cousins & Deandre :yeshrug:
