What's going to be hilarious, is 4-6 years from now after we shuffle through a plethora of young top 10 players, a couple guys emerge as promising and garpax fails to build around them as well. Then we will be either forced to overpay to keep them here, or once again rebuild trade them and do the shuffle all over again. Smh

If top FA's don't want to come to chicago, then what are you rebuilding for? In hopes that in 6 years top free agents change they mind?

Whether now or later, you will have to get a star on your team either via trade or free agency. There is no such thing as building totally through the draft and being a true contender. History agrees with me.

So either you have a front office who can be great on all fronts including good trades and signing the big name in free agency, or you fire them and find the front office who can get it done. Because "give it up and rebuild" as a remedy to a bad front office while keeping this bad front office, is just as dumb if not dumber than thinking you can buy a championship via free agency. It takes a little of it all.
