did danny not even call us? I feel like we could've gotten a way better deal for jimmy then what we got. Boston could've given us their pick plus a young stud and some more picks and got jimmy, then signed hayward out right and been a contender to beat cleveland

I actually think Ainge is right about that.

I was surprised he chose Tatum over Josh, but after the reports of Ainge being upset about his canceled workout. I get it. Tatum can be the scorer the Celtics need, Josh could've been nice with his hard-nose approach to defense. That would've fit with Smart, Crowder, Bradley, and Brown great.

They'll probably get their big next draft and just be ridiculously deep.

You get it! Ainge is actually trying to build the right way. He is stocking up on picks and trying to acquire players that actually fit in this era's NBA instead of going after stop gap players that are going to help them get to the ECF but not get them the prize. In the next few seasons teams are going to want to eat off Boston's plate because they are going to have a lot of good assets and will be really deep.
