Semi O is still on the board, highly doubt he makes it to the Bulls at this point

Ok, taken a little time to think about it before I emotionally pop off.

More calm, so for starters I'm sick in my stomach because garpax is still here and have secure futures, and through their trickery found a way to make it skiles fault, then Vinny del negro fault, then ben gordon fault, then thibs fault, the rose and noah fault, now it's Jimmy's fault, but the 2 idiots are still here.

The selection at 7th, is exactly why I didn't want a rebuild in there hands, because they are forever making the pick to try and look smarter than everyone in the room. I've watched some of his footage. And just like I felt when some of us were raving for niko I don't see what's special here.

Jimmy deal was supposed to set up our future, we basically got dunn who looks like a bust right now, yes that can change, but let's be honest most of the times players don't get it.

Lavine has a higher ceiling than jimmy, but coming off a acl, after just dealing with a player struggling with knee issues, just doesn't sit well with me. Like if lavine suffers another season ending injury, or struggles a bit to get his game back, can we say we surprised? No, the writings were on the wall for that.

Cap space means nothing, cause nobody is coming here. So

At worst, what we got for a clear top 12 player in the league, was a guy with 1 foot out the league, a guy coming off a acl injury, who by the way has an extension coming up as well and another slow footed white guy who could bust just as much as mcdermott and niko did.

Now maybe dunn plays much better with no thibs there, maybe lavine solidifies himself as a star and lauri is porzingas light, then it's a good deal. But I don't think it's crazy to say, that's hard to see right now. In a jimmy deal I shouldn't have to be waiting and seeing, that's ok in the taj trade, not ok when your trading your franchise player. Talking with the "hope" is how all fan bases talk once they franchise player is shipped out, and more than likely the shyt never pans out, then you just on a repetitive cycle of shuffling through young players til something starts working.

Right now the only hope is that lavine becomes a legit star, cause if he doesn't , and dunn continues to stink, and the best we can get out of lauri is a channing frye type, we just signed up to be horrible for the next 10 years. Even with bringing in top picks coming up. Losing culture sets in. And that is hard to shake off your organization. So I'm praying for lavine cause this is going to really suck if it doesn't work.

OK rant done, sorry for the long post.

breh, you argued me tooth and nail to rebuild and this is exactly why I said we shouldn't. For you to come in here playing this pity game is ironic, cuz you lamblasted me for being short sighted many a times. Fukk you!

Can't even be excited for the young talent and picks since the coach aint shyt and neither is this front office. :pacspit: And why would these fools pick up Wade when they out here shopping Butler? :pacspit: They should have dealt him last year and stop bullshytting like any big time free agent wants to come to the Chi and be part of this mess. :pacspit: Forman and Paxson need to go. :pacspit: :camby:

hindsight is 20/20

you keep Butler, Draft Patton or Collins at Center (both have solid games) .

trade mirotic for a 1st rounder next year

Draft Semi O this year.

Like I mentioned earlier we could have had Gary Harris and had him playing with Butler...we had opportunity to build a better team but we drafted/traded stupidly

:heh:

I just looked up an old Facebook post of mine from last year after the draft...

I wanted to see Jimmy get traded to the Wolves for Dunn, Lavine and a throw-in I still think the Bulls will look to move Jimmy, and if that Wolves deal happens, I'll be really happy for the team going forward. You get a PG for the future, and you get younger and more athletic. Jimmy Butler is a top 15 to 20 player in the NBA, but I don't think he's a number 1 option on a championship caliber team. The Bulls probably got cold feet and didn't want to move him the day after Rose was traded, but if what I'm seeing was on the table from Minny is true, I would have pulled the trigger. I think they'll revisit the Minny talks eventually.

Crazy... but not surprised at all. Lauri needs to be a solid contributor for this to be a homerun
