I've heard nothing positive about Jah's net contribution on the court. But maybe we can pin Rondo/Wade on Philly to balance it out if it doesn't work.

edit: on second thought, let's just keep Okafor off the roster altogether since we're going to end up paying LaVine a max anyway.

I'd trade for him if I were the Bulls, maybe some 2nd rounders which is low cost to get a look at him. I think he'd be a very good fit with Markkanen. He averaged 13,5 and 1 in 24mpg last year, and as bad as his defense has been he does have the reach / wingspan to get better. Put him on the Pat Riley south beach diet, get him down to 255 and he'd be better.
Truth be told ..this whole scenario is more of a indictment on 'ownership ' just as much as it as 'Garpax' the reality of the matter is reisendorfs have to be held just as accountable as pax and gar .. 
They have let this drag i for so long now ..that you have the 'FO 'literally changing the 'whole line up . make up of a team '- just to 'cover the f up ' of their past draft picks ,this hiring of hoiberg and firing of thibs.. no free agent acquisitions
the reality is this organisation traded a top 10-12 player , and rather then 'build' around him .. would rather blow it up now then risk trying to build around jimmy .. they obviously didn't trust themselves to get the job done

Jah doesn't play defense and is a traditional back to the basket post player. Hoiberg wants to play 5 out (more than likely), Jah would suffer in that up and down free flowing offense.
He was much more productive in a spread motion offense (which is what Coach K runs). So I dunno if he fits in Hoibergs vision. I would have liked him on last years roster tho

Jerry doesn't get 2 fukks about basketball, it's profitable...that's all he cares about. They put his ass in the HOF because he came along the same time MJ did,. We all know the white sox are his team but again, he's won 7 rings is in the HOF, he can just ride the Bulls pony and keep making profits.
Management acts like this because as you said its an indictment on ownership who won't make a change because he's in the black.
