if you do, dont buy it right off the bat, and trade your car in and dont mention anything thats wrong with the car. check kbb.com to see the value of your car to trade in so u can get a decent return off it. When I bought my car brand new off the lot, i went like 3-4 times until i went ahead and got the deal i was looking for. Always haggle, cuz they can always lower the price. Check other dealerships and tell them you have a better offer over there and if they can beat that price then you'll get it from them. And of course wait till the last week of the month when they need to hit their quota and will be more flexible. Good luck breh.
:salute:Thanks for your suggestions breh. Been kinda lost. But doing a lot of research. Any other first time buying tips? Things I should ask or shouldn't say?

Can you lease a car with almost less than a year of credit history?

np breh. Just stand on ur convictions and be confident in what you want. Dont check out the exact car you want off the bat, just say that your looking around right now. The seller that stays with you through the search is your target cuz they want that sell. make sure your mo/ payments can get as low as possible, even with low credit score stay within your budget. If you can put money down or trade your car in then the monthly should be lowered. You Dont need to put too much down, you can put like 1-2k down and ask them to lower the monthly. Your car should be able to get your rate at a lower cost. Thats all thats coming to me so far, if i remember anything else ill be back, good luck breh. Sundays are good days so Try checking out a couple dealerships today before the game. Go SwagBoyz!:lawd:

You are going to need a cosigner. Better off saving and buying used and getting your credit up later. They will make special cases for you if you have huge income to debt ratio.

Thing is my dad isn't a us citizen and doesn't have us credit history :snoop: but he has a strong source of income made outside the US can he still be a cosigner?:lupe:

I got caught up in the flood here in Dallas a Month ago, and It fukked up my electrical for my car. Getting my car appraised right now but i dunno how much I might get. Any of yall have any tips on buying new, CPO, Used cars?

Debt is the devil, whatever you buy, try to buy it in cash. That way your car becomes an asset instead of a liability. Look towards your area and what you do in order to determine what kind of car you should get:

1) If you are driving in a lot of bad weather you need a 4x4

2) if you are putting on more than 30 miles a day you should get a 4 cylinder

3) IF you are always picking up stuff you need a truck with an open cab, etc etc

Try to buy a car that holds its value in whatever vehicle utility demographic you are seeking. And if you can buy a car that's body on frame instead of unibody.

Nope. You should ask pops for 10K and just buy a used car bro.

Thing is I don't want a car. I just need one for a internship I'll be doing over a couple of months and possibility again in the summer.

Buy something <$1000 or go to the auction and buy a luxury whip that is priced significantly lower than its book value
