I know you African Americans don't know it yet dark skin black man are Original Black Men. Light skins basically don't exist naturally in black Africa. They are born of miscegenation and non-black genetic expression (hence their watered down features and appearance). According to scientific study, higher melanin (darker skin color) in African Americans is positively correlated with black ancestry. In other words, light skin is positively correlated with white ancestry in African Americans:
