I don't care what nobody says. Dressin up helps your case (it has for sure helped me) I have been to court a lot in the past 4 years. I've seen MFs come in the courthouse smellin like trees, rockin tall Tees, saggin like a MF in court, the bailiff tellin nyggaz to take their hats off, bytches rockin wife beaters, showin off their tatts. Basicly MFs not even tryna look presentable in front of a judge at all. Them nyggaz didn't get no love in that bytch. At least give yourself a chance to either win your case, get fines reduced, get court probation or get in some diversion program.

When I have court, a nygga is suited & booted and I talk to the judge like I have some gatdam sense! I done got outta all kind of shyt or got fines reduced. It even hepled me with a semi serious case I had a few years ago

I don't think judges care anymore quite honestly. Even when I was a probation officer I didn't wear a suit to court. I've testified on the stand in jeans and a polo shirt with tennis shoes. The judges never blinked an eye

When I went to juvenile and family court, I would see the judge tell people to go outside and tuck their shirt in, and then come back on a regular basis. Didn't see it in general district or circuit court.

You know what it comes down to, it might not help your case, but it sure as well aint gonna hurt your case either.

I don't know about this thread. A nikka can't be showing up to court 13k deep in child support debt talking about "your honor, I ain't got it" wearing a 3-4 hundred dollar suit and a fresh cut

I went to court to appear for a traffic violation a few months back and i dressed up in a nice european business suit. Everyone thought I was a high priced lawyer.
