People don't get dressed up to go to school graduations either. I went to my little sister's graduations a few years ago, and ninjas were wearing white t's, and the girls were wearing tight jeans exposing their coin slot, and with shirts exposing their midriff :why: I can understand not everyone is blessed with money to get a nice pair of shoes, or dress pants, but they come to graduation with Jordans, expensive gym shoes, or tims.

This is where our society is at now. Same reason people don't feel it is necessary to dress up for court is the same reason people feel it is okay to wear sandals, tank tops, midriff tops etc while grocery shopping. It is a lack of class and standards. Probably the worst case of this is when people are flying.

Well you know, it's good to be comfortable.

Most people aren't living their lives for the satisfaction of others. I flew from NY to San Fran in shorts and a t-shirt. That's a 6 hour flight, I want to be comfortable more than be aesthetically pleasing to some a$$holes who don't mean anything to me.

There are certain situation where I agree, we need to be a bit more classy (funerals especially) but in your everyday life there is nothing wrong with siandles, sweats etc...

As long as you're clean, there shouldn't be a problem.

When I had a couple of serious cases, I dressed up, bottom line it's a jury that will find you guilty or not and a lot of times people will straight judge you by how you look

I agree with this, except when you got other people determining your freedom.

That's a spot where other peoples opinions effect your life.

Forreal.... if your freedom is at stake apart from snitching you got to do everything in the book that might help your case

It's not gonna help though. If it's for something relatively minor, the judge already knows what he's going to do before you even walk in. :usure:

Now, if you're trying to impress a jury, then you're already fukked :heh:
