He's an astrophysicist. That most definitely falls under the title of "scientist":ld:
Fake science it has no practical application except for entertainment purposes. I'm open to any other perspectives but from my experience it's not a real science. Plus I think he's spent more time on jimmy Fallon than in a lab.

The actual people who are real scientists will not be in the public eye because the information they hold is too sensitive. Especially within capitalism since science has been utilized mainly for military expliots. He is nothing but the face for a propaganda machine. I wouldn't take anything he's says seriously but you have already been seduced so :yeshrug: neg me.
You seem to have redefined the definition of a scientist all on your own. So when I can I will neg you for trying to discredit him.

a person learned in science and especially natural science : a scientific investigator

: a person who is trained in a science and whose job involves doing scientific research or solving scientific problems

A scientist is a person engaging in a systematic activity to acquire knowledge that describes and predicts the natural world. In a more restricted sense, a scientist may refer to an individual who uses the scientific method. The person may be an expert in one or more areas of science.

His opinion on this particular subject is no more valid than anyone else's. He's a scientist and deals exclusively in the material realm. There never was nor will there ever be empirical evidence for spiritual phenomena.

Astrophysics is not fake science. Im just gonna assume you're fixated on the theoretical portion of it.

Here's some discoveries from astrophysics. Don't be willfully ignorant.

I wouldn't say that these are discoveries more as explanations for observed phenomena. The field itself is very theoretical space and other aspects of the universe is a very unexplored terrain. I don't see the use for it within the context of capitalism. They honestly don't know what goes on out there and why.

Natural disasters and people getting killed aren't evidence of God's non-existence. These things are even mentioned in the Bible. Bad things happen on Earth when humans fall out of line with God. :yeshrug:

When my sister in law; the kindest, sweetest, most loving and generous person I've ever known unexpectedly passed last year, my ma was like " remember during the wake how her dad said that she could sometimes be stubborn like her mama?" My ma more or less used this as a justification for God punishing her with death. Her way of rationalizing her belief with something that makes no sense.

shyt like this pisses me off greatly.

Traits such as "kindness" and "sweetness" don't atone for our sins as human beings. Accepting Christ and following his way are the only antidote to our sinful nature. :manny:
