:childplease: @ you comparing record sales from 2000 to record sales in 2010

I know u have a dislike for drake but I also know your not an idiot

Smarten up
naw i just listed facts. however,my point of interest is that he came out with no support and reached heavenly heights. Drake came out with every possible advantage and did good, but not great. that says alot. :yeshrug:

drake wouldn't make it in 2000 with Em and 50 not hesitating to beef.

Drake don't want it with Chris Brown.

The f*ck he gonna do when 50 was hittin his peak goin after n1ggaz necks?

Ja Rule woulda Ja Ruled Drake.

I know the industry dont want no more violence and sh!t I say f*ck'em I hope someone blows life into hip hop once again and honestly, beef is the way to do it.

If u against Beef the n U against all of history. Cuz throughout all of history, n1ggaz was beefing.

F8ck world peace

:violent::violent::violent::violent::violent

EDIT- Nelly wouldn't hesitate to defend himself during 2000 neither. I feel like it was a prerequisite not to be a b!tcha$$ n1gga at the time.

You're are a dumbass. No rapper has ever ended another rappers career

True

Nelly wasn't co-signed by a famous rapper or member of legendary crew. He didn't rely on big name producer. He didn't come from a city that has rich rap history. He didn't blew up because of beefs and controversies. People fukked with nelly just because he made music they liked.

with that being said, it's funny how anti-new school heads are showing nelly love.

Remember how NEW YORK fakkitS BORN HATERS hated on Nelly's swag?

Flex dissed him.

Why? Why you ask? Why did Flex dissed a kid on a come up, and why did entire NY look at Nelly's shyt sideways for a minute?

Because New York = hip-hop and hip-hop = hater repository.

When you come down from whatever synthetic high you're on hopefully you'll realize how shameful a man you are, Dirt.

His career wasn't ended by 50. He stopped making hits

And why did that happen?

:lolbron:

That 50 Cent explosion and people "turning on" Rule threw that nikka all the way off. He was conflicted after that shyt jumped off. Had to prove he was still hard, that didn't work. Then went back to his forte but it was less relevant by then. 50 killed him. Maybe not all by himself, but he definitely made Ja go cold for enough time to play himself out.

yeah, he sold madddddd records so clearly some people f*cked with him, but i'm talkin about "hip hop heads", or just n!ggas in general, ha. now it seems like everybody acts like they always loved him. that ish happens with every rapper. i've heard n!ggas say hammer was a genius recently

Ima tell you what it is. People be liking that stuff on the low but don't want to admit it in public. Hammer was a sellout but that shyt made people dance. Now that time passed its easier to admit the music was catchy. On the real when Hammer dropped the let's get it started album I loved it. Mind you I was 8 years old at the time. You can't front man this video gets you hype :smugfavre:
