For his first album, sure. Second album he got a Neptune's stimulus, Justin Timberlake and Kelly Rowland.
After a "Diamond certified" debut album with no co-signs, which was the reason for this thread. Of course you get those placements after doing MJ type numbers out the gate

He said "his era", not his debut.

Not discounting the effort, because that was the era of the cosign, but only his debut can claim that.

Usual grandstanding from another bygone rapper.

After Luda had already got himself hot.

I never knew and im sure most aren’t familiar with their affiliation. Face didn’t jump on any singles or promote him like that.

Luda (Chris Luva Luva) was a radio personality on the hottest show in Atlanta. When he started rapping he was playing his own shyt and everyone at the station was pumping it too. Bruh was in there freestyling over all the hottest songs for everyone in Atlanta to hear. He was always gonna blow eventually.

Stop it, Cornell! You got put on by Mase's Man.

The only song they did was the growing pains remix in 02 but I think he was a star by then:patrice:

Scarface did a lot for Luda behding the scenes.

Ya'll talking guest verses and shyt. Face was an exec at Def Jam round that time.

"In addition to his career as a rapper, Scarface was the coordinator and president of Def Jam South from 2000 to 2005, where he has fostered the career of rapper Ludacris, whom he originally signed to the label.[2]"
