At any rate, concerning the music I think he would do better if he was rapping more on those singles instead of the half-singing. Like, I know he had hits off of the sing-songy stuff ... but when I think of his major hits it's him rapping like Country Grammar, #1, Hot In Herre, etc.

nah man, Nelly was too sweet for me. In 2000 I was listening to Sigel, CNN, the seeds of the Nas/Jay war being planted, Jadakiss and the likes. Nelly wasn't doing shyt for me lyrically in 2000, that was bubble gum rap to us.
