I can’t watch long-form videos but I feel like this is a tired and guaranteed to be controversial topic, nobody’s going to change their mind.
I remember having this convo live with someone who was a staffer in the Dept of Health and Human services in like 2015 (sharing bc that’s a key dept that shapes fed policy on how to “treat” trans), but no they’re not women. I was going in on Caitlyn Jenner specifically and look how he/shim turned out-called that Bruce was changing back on the show before he outed himself, and she and “fans” are pretty much everything wrong with accepting it beyond their right to live and be left alone.
It’s been long trying to erode women and act like they’re “basically the same” in every sphere when we’re not. Lost some friends but idc, it also isn’t really something I care to discuss. My historical experience with trans women esp Black have been them living their life and not trying to be activist or erase women, these convos are kinda ridiculous. They don’t actually have any ground to stand on other than being loud to deny pretty basic realities and act like women are victimizing them when we say no you’re not a woman in reality. It’s kind of mansplaining too but for what a woman is. If you fw one then yes sir you’re at least bi- own it, move on.
