How can you not appreciate that artistic line on that artistic album from this artistic genius in Kendrick Lamar?

It was a try hard and very odd line, and reeks of Fake Militancy
That's not Kendrick saying it but an associate calling him out on the contradiction of using a slur related to another group while denying the usage of slurs directed towards his group.
He even says "You challenged the shyt I was kicking". Not sure who he is talking about though, haven't got through the album yet, just saying he acknowledged the contradiction. But understand, that acknowledgement doesn't lead to him allowing the white girl to say the nword, just means he would stop using the slur directed towards gay people to stay consistent.

As somebody who despises the word and doesn't use it , I don't mind AT ALL when others use the word
It actually kills me when I see black people getting angry at other races for calling THEMSELVES a "n1gga"

I don't think anyone should be using the word, for black people it's an environmental thing, so I can make the excuse for why some use it now but as you mature, you should be dropping it. For white people, they shouldn't be saying it at all, I swear they only get away with that in the metro areas because everywhere I grew up that was an automatic fight and would only ever be used by those that meant to say it with vitriol. I understand what you are saying, applying "low class" to them, and yes, they are usually stupid, but anyone using a slur doesn't have respect for the related group. Class or not, they are racists. Also, and I know you said you were posting without context, but Kendrick isn't defending usage of the word by other groups, see my post above on the matter.

I don’t like it and quit saying it 2 years ago. I tell my brothers and nephews don’t say at around my 15 year son. My 20 year old daughter got checked the other day for saying it on Facebook live. But coincidentally, I call people fakkits, queers, pillow biters, pole smokers, shemales, fudge packers, Sodomite, that’s so gay, flamers, fruitcakes. It's damn near impossible for a black person to make it to a certain age WITHOUT that word becoming apart of our vocabulary.
It's EVERYWHERE in society. Especially in our music.
Hell, you can't even listen to today's R&B music without hearing that word.
Salute for keeping that word out of your household, that's where it starts.
I have a 9 year old daughter myself and Im already doing my best to plant seeds in her mind about that word.
Shes gonna hear it a million times as she gets older but I've told her, DO NOT follow the crowd and start using it.
