Netflix kills casting from phones

Never heard of casting to a tv? What's the point?

Damn near every tv is a smart tv so you can cast from your account without having to enter your credentials into a TV that ain't yours
I do it every time i'm in a hotel or airbnb

But they have smart tv...at least everyone I've stayed in the past 10 years...Netflix is built in 100%...I get bringing a fire stick for Paramount or out of country use with vpn access but who doesn't have netflix?

Only reason I still have Netflix is the wife wont let me get rid of it. There's no show i want that I can't self host and stream and cast from my phone.........fukk all these services......they never learn.......they one more soon come price increases from decreasing their user base some more

Would people want to do the legwork of building a plex server from scratch or go the iffy IPTV route where you have flexibility or be at the mercy of the ever changing policies of Netflix

IPhone is so popular because its easy and simple, literally what I hear most people say.......

Asking people to build, shyt asking them to setup a nas box is many steps too far considering the lack of brains people display........on top of then asking them to create an arr stack......the thought is making me giggle because it's not hard.....at all...........hard drive costs would scare people off I immediately....... currently need a couple 26 iron wolfs.....

A ton of times I've come to an airbnb or hotel and turned on a streaming service and it was already logged into to some previous guest account. Me and my girl be joking that we be fukking up cacs algorithms. casting from your phone/tablet avoids all that and saves time/adds security
