That makes a certain modicum of sense but I can’t see competitors being willing to put up with that for the time it would take to make the return on investment. Especially with Smart TV’s being the norm, anyone can download any streaming app they want straight to the TV without the need for a third party dongle

Beat thing they can do is double down on their actual success. Immediately fire and publicly announce no more sje woke shyt and forcing the gay agrnda in every show and try to market to middle america/traditional america.

Get a deal with solid show runners who make shows that appeal to men and boys who are straight. Get showrynners like rhimes keep them who appeal yowomen. Make thise two seperate development groups and push them to make somid programming that is distinct.

Get some reality shows started up.

Kill the binge model go to weekly viewi ng.

Buy old universal and paramount properties.

Oaramount was ready to sell the whole of star trek to them and they refused. Stupid. Buy star trek, buy sci fi properties, put real miney in their ahows and fire the show runners like the lady who did witcher season 2.

The UI is better on Roku. Fire sticks are slow af. Navigating on a Roku is a breeze compared to a fire stick.

I've always had a Firebox, so the speed has been fine, but the Fire stick I bought last year was fine. The UI is clunky.

Does Roku still not have Bluetooth, Kodi, and decent web browser.

Ah, I should've figured you were using Kodi...yeah if you need that then yea fire stick is the way to go but if your just using the streaming apps as they come then Roku all the way.

Makes no sense, they'd be better off starting their own company and making their own streaming devices, that is what Roku is, just the physical streaming device and Roku itself is trying to enter the streaming war with pluto or roku tv.

shyt like this is why they are going out of business.

If they really have money they'd be far better served buying Sony film and TV and dropping 4 bil for it.
With that they get all Sony produced tv shows, they get all sony film back catalog,
It instally fills their lack of good content and back catalog needs.
They should also look at buying thriller and a24 and small studios, for content and post 30day theater releases.

Their leadership has no vision though
