You're not wrong at all but you could've let me rock a little longerYeah but the pixel density on such a small screen can make it near impossible for the average human to distinguish, of course 480 to 4k is reasonable jump but for people on 1080p plan, it's not that big of a deal. It's just a selling point for most. On my OLED, if I turn off AI upscaling, I can't distinguish the difference between 2140p and 4k at my usual viewing distance. Hell, I would wager with minimal upscaling, it would be hard to tell the difference between 1080p and 4k if you aren't sitting right on top of the screen.

True, and that's mainly because they can change the texture resolution on the fly, but for TV show and movies, unless you are dealing with a remux or you have legit bluray player and aren't limited by bitrate, you would be hard pressed to recognize the difference.Only time 4k means anything is with games and even then you cant really tell the difference between 1440 and 4k.
You can tell who uses someone else's account or pirates everythingNetflix has always had that 480p plan (for years) thoy'all really that late?
Unrelated but Netflix already confirmed that they will be releasing an ad-supported version in the near future so that version will probably be an extension of their current basic 480p plan.
DVD 480p is better then streaming 480p, Netflix out they damn mind. They 4k not even real 4k because that shyt is streamed I dropped the 4k tier when I realized that. How my Blu Ray's which are 1080p look better then Netflix wannabe 4kWild that basic is 480 and not 720. Might as well go all the back to sending dvds in the mail.
