Was this privilege as well?

yes it is..Nash came out of nowhere..almost like they called him and asked if he’d like the opportunity ..it’s literally the exact meaning of white privilege

All those other guys were well known speculated candidates for coaching jobs ..besides maybe Jason Kidd

I remember Knicks fans were begging to have Steve Kerr as the coach

Or, ya know, the franchise player had a legit relationship when Nash was with the Warriors as a consultant

They gave a 4 year deal to a Guy who has NEVER coached a day at the Pro Level.

So you bypass Jacque Vaughn for Steve Nash. SMH. This how they do Black coaches? Lets see how @NYC Rebel spins this one.
:mjpls:WARRIORS GAVE KERR
A 5 YR DEAL WITH NO COACHING EXPERIENCE.

Not a minute of coaching or front office experience and hes getting to coach a finals contender?? :dahell:

Doesn't matter. He worked with the Warriors as a consultant. Has been around some of the best coaches in the game. Don Nelson, D'Antoni, Steve Kerr, He has a basketball mind and I'm sure he got plenty of recommendations. I'm glad the Nets didn't hire the same old coaches and went with a fresh mind.

Nash is one of best offensive skills coaches I've ever seen. His DVDs back in the day helped school a whole generation of guards but yall probably too young to know about those. Plus he literally has a few years being one of KD's personal skills coaches and obviously has KD's and more than likely Kyrie's blessing.

But yall are going to pretend its just about race.
