i believe in warranties on appliances

Especially on media equipment….

i have over the years upgraded mad tvs a stereo.

Matter fact my strategy now is to in the last year look for whatever issues and take in back just to get that store credit to buy a newer tv

done used this strategy to flip like 4 tvs over the last few years!! lol

This thread is timely as hell. I'm moving as of today and kinda wanna get a TV on Black friday or Cyber Mondatly, but I've heard complaints with Samsung. What brand would yall suggest?

Not sure why.

I just know on Xmas.

To be prepared for an appliance.
that is needed to die on Xmas. Especially if you are traveling. Wake up and open every present. Then go to the fridge and it is dead on Xmas morning. Go to microwave a croissant with that butter and garlic salt for 20 seconds. It is dead on xmas.
Where I guess the emergency to fix it on that day.
Makes Xmas the day the replacement die too. It is a wild cycle. That I see a lot of homes experience. So be on the lookout and plan ahead for Xmas if you are traveling. To do maintenance on your appliances before Xmas.

I have had a Samsung washing machine and dryer for 4 years and have not had a problem.

I have a Frigidaire fridge in my basement man cave and that son of bum motor went out last year right after the warranty expired. It cost me $250.00 to get a new motor. That shyt felt planned.

Samsung fridge was a nightmare and it stopped getting cold because of ice buildup on the back. There was a class action lawsuit going to happen.

Never again. Im also staying away from anything "smart."

I have a 7 year old Samsung refrigerator. Only issue I have is you have to manually turn the ice maker off because it overfills the ice tray and ice spills out when you open the door.

I bought a used front load Samsung washing machine around the same time. It lasted less than a year and the mount that holds the drum broke. Appliance guy told me to scrap it because Samsungs aren't worth fixing. Got a nice Whirlpool pair now.

So yeah, don't waste your money on Samsung appliances.

my parents got a washer and dryer when they first got married in the early 70's. that shyt lasted over 35 years until they FINALLY had to replace it. shyt was crazy. they were olive green and everything, so u know they was hella old.
