i feel like society believes that if a man has a wife then he is tolerable. if he cant find a girl willing to have kids by him something must be wrong with him from a character and responsibility standpoint.

funny enough, i believe the average married man is unhappy, a cheater or both. Folks may judge a childless bachelor but deep down they know that they envy him. Because more times than not if a man is unmarried past lets say age 35 it isnt because he CAN'T find someone. Nah. It's likely because he's a non-conformist and lives life by his own rules and desires. That's my take

I remember one time I was in my manager's office at work and a director was chit chatting about family or some shyt asking my manager when he was gonna get married/have kids. My manager was like 36 at the time probably but anyways I think he said never. The director said something about that being selfish before leaving. Ironically enough, i find that people often get married and have kids for selfish reasons; pooling resources, keeping a legacy going, to grow up and take care of them, to look good in other people's eyes etc. Kids dont ask to be born into this shyt world. Aint nothing more selfish than having kids
